Services and FAQ

Jersey Shore Cat Sitter primarily serves the Jersey Shore communities of Brick and Toms River, along with parts of the surrounding area.

Jersey Shore Cat Sitter is insured and “bonded” by Pet Care Insurance.

Why choose Jersey Shore Cat Sitter?

Hire me and you won’t have to worry about your cat being stressed out in a kennel type of environment. Choosing the Jersey Shore Cat Sitter means your cat will enjoy his or her daily life as usual. They’ll receive their regular, familiar diet of food water and treats, served in their own bowls. They’ll have their own familiar space in their home, allowing them to enjoy their daily life as usual instead of being stuck in a kennel room. And, they won’t be exposed to any illnesses or parasites other animals may be carrying.

Thinking about leaving your cats home alone while you’re away? You could do that. But, just because a person can do something doesn’t mean they should. What does your cat do if the litter box isn’t clean? Some go poop somewhere else. And what if your flight is delayed or bumped and you can’t get home on the day you planned? Will they have enough food? What if it’s exceptionally hot and the cat runs out of water? It’s a good idea to have someone checking in. If not every day, every other day at minimum.

Daily Visit

$25. This fee is for services provided for 1-3 cats in one visit. I have experience working with larger numbers of cats (up to 15 at once) but this requires an additional fee as it is substantially more time spent during the visit.

This fee is for services provided once in one day in parts of the 08723 and 08753 zip codes. Services in other areas may be a little more.

A discount is available if booking for 5 days or more, or if booking more than one visit in a day.

Cat sitting visits are generally made between the hours of 8am and 2pm.
Specific timing can be requested and we will do our best to accommodate.

Frequently Asked Questions

We primarily care for cats and kittens, but also occasionally care for puppies, small animals like hamsters, birds and fish.

Door codes are ideal for this type of service, should you have that type of door lock. If you have a traditional door lock you can provide us with a spare key or hide a key lockbox on your property. If you prefer, we can also use a garage door for entry if you have a code for that. (If you do wish me to use an electronic front door or a garage door it is highly recommended you hide a spare key hidden or leave one with an emergency contact in case the lock batteries die or there is a power outage.)
